Job Description:
Solar Ace is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and customer satisfaction of our solar energy installations. The role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and optimizing solar PV systems, inverters, and energy storage units while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission solar PV systems, inverters, and distribution panels as per technical standards.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct system performance tests to ensure optimal and stable generation.
- Customer Support: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure long-term system reliability.
- System Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve technical faults, inverter issues, and low-generation problems efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Follow PPE, electrical safety standards, and company SOPs during all service operations.
- Documentation: Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and job completion certificates accurately.
- Inventory Handling: Manage tools and spare parts to ensure the readiness of service equipment.
- Training: Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians on system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 Years of Practical experience in Solar PV Installation/O&M/Service.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of solar PV systems, string & hybrid inverters, wiring layouts, and monitoring systems.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for solar equipment and electrical systems.
- Communication: Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights and outdoor project sites.
Education:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (certifications in solar energy preferred).
