Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Head to lead and grow the solar sales division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, driving revenue, managing the sales team, and building strong client relationships to expand the company’s presence in the renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the rooftop and ground-mounted solar segment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive high performance and achieve monthly/annual goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and industry developments to stay competitive.
- Collaborate with design, technical, and project teams for accurate proposals, presentations, and client solutions.
- Oversee tendering, proposals, commercial negotiations, and closure of deals.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5–12 years of experience in B2B solar sales; rooftop/utility/industrial solar sales preferred.
- Proven experience in handling large clients, channel partners, or industrial sales.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong market understanding.
