Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our Solar Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing solar PV systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring all projects meet industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop rooftop/ground-mounted solar PV systems including load calculations, string sizing, and layout preparation.
- Prepare detailed drawings, SLDs, BOM, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent tools.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and shading analysis to optimize system performance.
- Coordinate with the project, procurement, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
- 1–5 years of experience in solar PV design (preferred: renewable energy background).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office; knowledge of Helioscope is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
